Professional Training/Workshop 2025 themed: "Healing Attachment through play". Date: 28th July – 1st August 2025.
The Challenge
Child mental health is a critical issue in Nigeria:
📊 1 in 4 Nigerians suffers from mental health challenges (WHO).
💔 7 in 10 Nigerian children have experienced abuse or trauma by age 18 (UNICEF).
🚨 Over 20% of children are at risk of mental disorders due to adverse childhood experiences, poverty, and lack of access to care.
With only 1 psychiatrist for every 1 million Nigerians, and even fewer child-focused professionals, the need for action is urgent.
Our Vision
We are committed to establishing a dedicated Play Therapy Centre—a safe, therapeutic space for children, adolescents, and their caregivers.
Through play therapy, professional training, and community outreach, we aim to bridge the gap in mental health care for Nigerian children.

📚 Training Programs: Training play therapists & empowering teachers, parents, and caregivers with trauma-informed skills.
